I had a wonderful stay at a hostel in Cairns. They even loaned me an extension lead when my adaptor didn't work. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the shopping complex, train station, and bus station. I also appreciated the handy sinks in the laundry area for hand-washing. I highly recommend this hostel for its comfort, safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.

The hostel had a no-nonsense setup that catered to the needs of travelers. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and there was a convenient place to store bags after check-out. The location was great, being close to a shopping center and just a short walk from the waterfront, night markets, and public pool.
The dorm room felt a bit cramped and could benefit from individual lights for each bed. While some of the staff were friendly and helpful, others seemed unbothered and rude, which made it less comfortable to approach them with questions or concerns.

The price was too high for the quality of accommodation, which was just basic. The staff, particularly one female staff member, was rude and dismissive.
